After Seeing The X-Men

We exit the theatre
everyone making sound effects
fourteen year old boys jump
at each others shoulders
and I lift my red tightly wrapped
Thon Hotell-emblazoned umbrella
at traffic, which stops and even
if it didn’t the black BMWs would
bounce right off me
